Hi class,



As I'm sure you could imagine, your own speaking and presentation skills are very important both as a speaker of English and as an English language teacher.

In the coming weeks, you will be asked to do some online video recording. Through this I will be able to get an idea of how your speaking skills are developing or need developing for the purposes of leading an English classroom.

To do this, you will need access to a computer with a webcam and a microphone. I'm sure in this amazing "wired" country of Korea you can do that, or know a friend who can help you do that.

You also need to register with Eyejot:

Just click on the orange button that says "Join now for free!" It won't cost you anything, and it's very simple to register. Please just ensure that you enter your actual (full) Korean name in English letters when you sign up, so that I can track who you are.

For now, just try to register and familiarize yourself with Eyejot. I will give you additional instructions and guidelines next week on how to use it and why we will be using it.
